Children of Rage Reviews

Touching on a sensitive issue, CHILDREN OF RAGE does little to bring out a comprehensive understanding of why the Palestinian terrorist does what he does. This film is very talky and repetitive, beating what little message it gets across with a nine-pound sledge. It follows a series of melodramatic encounters between an Israeli doctor, Griem, and a band of guerillas encamped in a refugee enclave near Israeli-controlled territory. The main action surrounds a Palestinian attempt to blow up an Israeli dance hall crowded with Israeli teenagers. One of the terrorists killed during the attempt is an old friend of Griem. He takes the position that any attempt to open the lines of communication is worth the risk, so he steals off with the terrorist's sister to open a hospital.
