This psychological drama set in present-day Quebec follows the life of Boris Malinovsky (James Hyndman), a wealthy man blinded by his own arrogance and selfishness. Rather than offer support for his ailing wife (Simone-Élise Girard), a minister for the Canadian government who is bed-ridden with a crippling form of depression, Boris instead occupies his time by purchasing expensive clothes and conducting ex-marital affairs. That is, until a revealing encounter with a mysterious stranger (Denis Lavant) causes Boris to reflect on his self-centered approach to life. Written and directed by Denis Côté.
