Reynolds is a totally unsympathetic criminal whose sister falls in love with the detective assigned to catch him. Though he was raised in wealthy surroundings, Reynolds is attracted to a life of crime and proceeds to rob cafes and casinos. When caught red-handed, the slimy Reynolds grabs his sister and uses her as a shield to escape. Justice triumphs when the creep kills himself in a car crash while making his getaway. Potentially interesting material made maudlin by lackluster script, direction, and acting.
