An entertaining but highly implausible film tells the familiar story of a man mistaking one twin for the other and marrying the wrong one. Bergner plays both the fun-loving, carefree sister and the more serious one who passes her time climbing mountains. The latter falls in love with a fellow climber, who mistakenly proposes to her sister. The marriage somehow takes place, but the bride drowns in a boating accident. The remaining sister takes the dead wife's place and secures her husband.
