A Little Bit of Heaven Reviews

Jean is a 12-year-old girl from a New York City East Side family. She takes to singing, eventually making it big on the radio. The family members go wild with their newfound wealth and ignore all their old friends. Angered, Jean pretends to lose her voice, and the family quickly mends its ways. Despite the simplistic script and lackluster direction, Jean really comes off well in this, her second feature. She not only sings up a storm, but also proves she can act as well. Songs include: "What Did We Learn at School?" (Vivian Ellis, sung by Jean), "After Every Rain Storm" (Sam Lerner, Frank Skinner, sung by Jean), "A Little Bit of Heaven" (J. Keirn Brennan, Ernest Ball, sung by Jean), and "Dawn of Love" (Ralph Freed, Charles Previn).
