11 Libra TV Characters

Balanced and charming huh? If you say so...

Jackie Burkhart, That '70s Show
1 of 11 Fox

Jackie Burkhart, That '70s Show (Sept. 24)

Jackie (Mila Kunis) of That '70s Show may not be the Libra woman that other Libra women wish to have as their representative: She was vain, conceited and controlling of her man, but let's face it, Libras know they look good and they're uncompromising when sure of what they want. They're a little bit of a perfectionist too, hence Jackie's many, many meltdowns over things that really weren't that big a deal.

Jim Halpert, The Office

Jim Halpert, The Office (Oct. 1)

Ah, Jim (John Krasinski). The Office's resident prankster would often pull his greatest stunts as a means of retaliating against some injustice at Dunder Mifflin. A sensitive dude who, as we all know, held out for the right love, Jim was almost always positive and upbeat (Libra to the max) even if a lot of that had to do with the fact that he avoided confrontation: another of Libra's "talents."

Marge Simpson, The Simpsons (Oct. 1)

A die-hard romantic who loves a bit of adventure, a Libra woman like Marge Simpson enjoys keeping things light and fun and keeping her home right and tight for her family.

Rory Gilmore, Gilmore Girls (Oct. 8)

Gilmore Girls Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) is the ultimate Libra woman: a hopeless romantic who's charming when she needs to be but also painfully shy too. Though she'll keep her feelings to herself for the most part, she's all about that fairytale romance in the movies and will chase it like it's free money, even if it's totally unrealistic to everybody but her.

Carrie Bradshaw, Sex and the City (Oct. 10)

Yeah, one of the most iconic TV characters of all time,Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), is a Libra. Once you know that you can't unsee it. Carrie's Libra nature made her prone to hissy fits over things being fair in relationships, not to mention being obsessed with a fairy-tale romance (even with dudes who that had ZERO chance of happening with). Charming and always looking her best (Libras are ruled by the planet Venus, the plant of love and beauty), Carrie could also be melodramatic and indecisive -- all peak Libra.

Warrick Brown, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Oct. 10)

Apart from being obsessed with justice, Libra men are known for being really nice to look at but hard to pin down romantically, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's dearly departed Warrick (Gary Dourdan) absolutely fit that bill.

Fox Mulder, The X-Files (Oct. 13)

The truth is out there in plain sight: The X-Files' Mulder (David Duchovny) is an embodiment of Libra's not-so-great traits. Detached? Check. Fatalistic? Ha, don't get us started. And with his fastidiousness easily veering into OCD territory, Mulder is the kind of Libra who, when out of balance, can be a handful to deal with. But that never applied to him, right? *saracstic wink*

Liz Lemon, 30 Rock (Oct. 14)

Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) of 30 Rock is like a walking checklist of Libra traits: diplomatic, charming and in constant search of harmony, which Liz could never quite actualize on set, but we won't hold it against her.

Adrian Monk, Monk (Oct. 16)

Libras are obsessed with fairness and justice, and they're generally kind-hearted people too. They can also be frustratingly indecisive, especially when they're fussing over things being balanced -- a big deal to them. Their sign is represented by scales, after all, and there may be no more TV character who fits all these traits like the OCD detective of Monk.

Ross Geller, Friends (Oct. 18)

Evidence as to when exactly Ross' (David Schwimmer) birthday is can be contradictory, but there's more to suggest his birthday is Oct. 18, which makes him a dude under the scales sign. And par for the course for a Libra dude, Ross loves being in love, and is sometimes better at the idea of a relationship than actually being in one. Libras are born poets and artists too, which would explain Ross' musical ambitions.

Will Truman, Will & Grace (Oct. 23)

Will & Grace's Will (Eric McCormack) is an attorney (justice-fixated) on a never-ending quest to be thinner, better dressed and with the hottest guy possible. He practically invented Libra.
