This Oscar de La Renta dress is a cute choice for Zooey Deschanel, but the details keep this from getting a top grade. We'd like to see a skinny black belt replace the red sash, her hair up instead of down and a lot less red blush.

Emily Deschanel is available to tell your fortune. But you better hurry — the aging effect of this dress and hairstyle make it appear that she doesn't have much time left.

The trim around the neck is a little odd, but overall we really like Ariel Winter's vanilla dress and taupe satin sandals.

We know some of you will cry "nightgown" about this dress, but we have to give Christina Hendricks a break once in awhile. The top and sleeves are gorgeous and quite figure flattering. The bottom is a bit much — solid rather than sheer and layered would have worked best — but we gave her extra points for the pretty hair, makeup and silver clutch.

Hayden Panettiere stopped by on the way to a teenage pool party.

Kate Walsh just looks so light and lovely here! We think it's a combination of factors — the bright smile, the lemony sequins, and the blonder streaks in her hair.

The sheer panels in Lucy Liu's Atelier Versace gown add visual interest and sex appeal while the dusty pink is flattering to her complexion. We like the way the light-colored drop earrings pop against her dark hair.

Ginnifer Goodwin looks like a goth teen that had to wear her mom's dress to a family event.

The sparse fringe on Katrina Bowden's dress is tacky, and this color does nothing for her.

Miss

Kristin Davis' outfit is single-handedly responsible for destroying our enjoyment of the colored-shoe trend.

An alternative to the one-shoulder neckline would improve Olivia Munn's otherwise pretty tulip-hemmed ivory satin dress. We love the chunky lucite bracelet and metallic-tipped shoes.

Hit

Solange Knowles has an adventurous style and she really knows how to make it work by balancing dramatic elements with neutrals. This Roberto Cavalli jacket gets star billing when paired with a simple black tank and shorts.

Miss

As far as we know, Greta Gerwig is not pregnant. This dress leads you to believe otherwise.

Miss

Rather than interpreting '80s fashion, Elle Macpherson simply chooses to relive it with this melange of stacked rubber bracelets, slashed clothing and neon.

Miss

At this stage of her career, we just don't think Penlelope Cruz can throw on a sparkly bedsheet and call it a day.

Hit

It's the shoes thing again. We love colored shoes. And Krysten Ritter's bangs.

Miss

Ashley Greene goes for the "dressy pants outfit" and we're underwhelmed.

Hit

On the other hand, Hailee Steinfeld also tries out the "dressy pants outfit" (Prabal Gurung style) and it works! The white and ivory color palette is fresher than Ashley Greene's black-bustier look.

Miss

The unflattering color and cut of this dress ages Whitney Cummings about 20 years.
20 of 52 Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

Hit

Kiernan Shipka's parents and/or stylist certainly do a great job helping her choose looks that are fashion-y, but still age-appropriate. (Watching her play the wise-beyond-her-years Sally Draper, it's easy to forget she's only 12!)

Miss

The overabundance of ruffles and the unfinished hem of Eva Longoria's gown remind us of a hastily-sewn Project Runway entry. And washed-out blue does nothing for her.
22 of 52 Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images

Miss

Meg Tilly's disco ball gown is rather shapeless, and the black accessories are clunky.
23 of 52 Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Draw

We like the mixed patterns and summery blues of Jaime King's dress, but that skirt seems a bit stiff. And we would choose different sandals.
24 of 52 Pascal Le Segretain/Getty Images

Miss

The huge ivory bow appliques are a clunky detail, and throw off the balance of Madeleine Stowe's otherwise delicately designed gown.
25 of 52 Gergg DeGuire/WireImage.com

Miss

The Holly Golightly look just doesn't work for Stana Katic. Her very modern sensibility makes something like this just feel costume-y.

Hit

Dakota Fanning's coral Gucci gown is beautifully accented with a black and gold butterfly belt and matching clutch. We love the effect of the just-slightly-lighter shade of the bodice.
27 of 52 Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

Hit

Elizabeth McGovern looks far younger than 50 in this fresh, floral-patterned lace dress. The below-the-knee length and ladylike clutch and pumps prevent it from appearing too youthful.

Miss

Katherine Heigl needs a new stylist And while we're at it, a new hairstylist? She can look so much better than this.
29 of 52 Alberto E. Rodriguez/Getty Images

Hit

We're rather partial to black and ivory (not to mention flowy chiffon), so Mena Suvari's dress gets our full attention. The halter neck and high-waisted A-line are ideal for her figure.

Miss

Rose McGowan appears to have repurposed a floor length gown by chopping off the bottom half. The red satin slingbacks are not helping matters.
31 of 52 Neilson Barnard/Getty Images

Draw

We really like Jessica Paré's print sheath dress and natural makeup. But a dressier, more delicate shoe would bring this whole look up a notch.
32 of 52 Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Miss

This shade of white combined with nude shoes makes Lily Collins blend right into the background. And the odd draping of the skirt just makes us think "diaper".
33 of 52 Jason Kempin/Getty Images

Hit

Julianne Hough's dress — although nice — is really rather basic. In this case, we're giving the thumbs up more for the trend of pairing brightly colored shoes with a black or neutral dress. What do you think?
34 of 52 Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images

Hit

We rarely view jumpsuits as a viable fashion option, but Busy Philipps has made us think twice. It's fairly basic in style, cut well for her figure and the other choices she's made make the look work as a whole. The tight topknot and pop of color from the large dangling turquoise earrings and matching bracelet are standouts.

Miss

The ivory and gold metallic fabric used to makes Jessica Chastain's dress is gorgeous, but the dimensions make her appear extremely short-waisted. Plus: The sheer capelet pushes it into fairy costume territory.

Sophia Bush looks happy and summery in this tangerine dream of a dress.

Sheer panels can be iffy, but they look absolutely elegant on model-esque Zoe Saldana in this Prabal Gurung gown.

Miss

Oh, Coco. So close! This print sheath dress, though still flaunting her curves, manages a more covered-up look than her usual let-it-all-hang-out look. However, her baby steps on the path towards the land of tasteful dressing end with her tacky, hot pink accessories and garish makeup.
39 of 52 Stuart Wilson/Getty Images

Hit

We love the airy, minimalist feeling of Charlize Theron's sparkly Dior Couture dress, further emphasized by a distinct lack of accessories.

Draw

Eva Longoria's bright orange sheath dress is trendy and flattering, but the clunky nude pumps feel behind the times and out of season.

Miss

Lavender is not a particularly flattering color on Salma Hayek. The raspberry clutch and pumps compound the problem.
42 of 52 Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Hit

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer have adopted a "lovely goth couple from down the road" aesthetic that seems to work for them.

Miss

The collar on Deborah Ann Woll's dress makes her neck look stumpy and those chunky shoes do the same for her legs.
44 of 52 Mike Marsland/WireImage.com

Draw

We wanted to like Jessica Alba's glamorous Alexander McQueen, but every time we look at it, it looks more and more like lingerie. A dressing gown, rather than an evening gown.
45 of 52 Gregg DeGuire/WireImage.com

Hit

The shirt and jacket of Kristen Stewart's ensemble have a victorian/equestrian feel. Mixed with a very modern mini and pumps, it's a bit of a fashion mashup, but we think it works.
46 of 52 Slaven Vlasic/Getty Images

Draw

Oh, Stacy London, judge not lest ye be judged. While we wouldn't tell you not to wear this, we expect something with just a little more flair from a fashion doyenne such as yourself.
47 of 52 Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Hit

We like the way the slash effect of the asymmetrical neckline is echoed in the slit of Krysten Ritter's edgy dress.
48 of 52 Mike Marsland/WireImage.com

Is this Naomi Watts? Maybe we're thrown off the by the fact that it doesn't really look like her, but this dress sort of leaves us feeling sort of meh.

Hit

Midnight blue is such a pretty color on Lea Michele, and the bias cut of this gown is very flattering.

Didn't Peaches Geldof have a baby, like, just last week? It seems that her dress hanging off of her wouldn't be the problem, but somehow it is.
