You don't need a waffle obsession or major political ambitions to become Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) from Parks and Recreation. What you do need, though, is to emulate her windswept blonde hairdo (there's a wig for that, by the way) and a modest skirt suit, preferably in light gray. If you want to really nail the look, add a Leslie Knope ID badge and/or her signature campaign button to the garment to ensure everyone knows you're coming in as Pawnee's brightest star this season.

Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) from Game of Thrones has a lot of titles -- Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons -- so it's not surprising there are a lot of costuming options for becoming her as well. Whether you want to rock her chiffon dress from the first season (and tote around some dragon eggs for good measure), her blue gown from Qarth, that iconic blue cloak from Season 3, the white dress from her time in Meereen, her black battle uniform, or even her white snow coat from the most recent season, almost all options are on the table. Just match any of those garbs with a white-blonde wig, and you're set.

Becoming Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) from Law and Order: Special Victims Unit could be as simple as rummaging through your closet for a very sharp dress suit, but you'll definitely want to sport a police badge on your belt and flatten your locks to achieve the look.

You don't need to drag out a couple of jawless walkers on chains to become Michonne (Danai Gurira) from The Walking Dead, but toting her katana bag and wielding her signature sword will be key. If you're looking for a fun female superhero's shoes to step into this year, Supergirl's Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist) is a sublime option. Jimmy McGill-slash-Saul Goodman is intriguing and all, but the real standout of Better Call Saul is Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), the stoic lawyer extraordinaire partner who's been testing out the reaches of her own immorality by association with him lately. To achieve her appearance, you'll need to sport a parted sandy blonde ponytail with a tight curl at the end alongside a slim-fitting business suit with a pencil skirt. Oh, and those gold triangle ear studs are absolutely essential.

Last but certainly not least, you can celebrate Doctor Who's first female Doctor (Jodie Whittaker) by sporting that first rainbow-striped shirt and suspenders look we got of her in character. It's instantly iconic.
