She made her point so strongly during the visually extravagant performance of "Who Runs The World (Girls)" that she startled Matthew Morrison a bit.

In a way only she can, Mariah Carey wow'd the crowd in 1999 during her performance if "I Still Believe." The Billboard Music Awards take place in Vegas, so it's not that much of a stretch to hope Mariah graces the stage at the award show this year. Please, Mariah?

R&B star Miguel performed his break-out hit "Adorn" at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. During his show, he jumped from one part of the stage to the other, but misjudged the distance and landed on two fans in the crowd. There were no serious injuries, except perhaps Miguel's pride.

It was pretty epic, as the hologram star performed songs from his latest album, Xscape, and danced across the stage in true Michael Jackson fashion.

Nicki Minaj puts on a great show, and the 2013 Billboard Music Awards were no different. She performed "High School" from her album The Pink Print: Roman Reloaded - The Re-up and invited Lil' Wayne to rap his versus from the single. Not only did Lil' Wayne get to perform, he got a full-on lap dance from Minaj. It's a wonder he was able to focus on the show at all!
