7. Lil RoundsLil's been inching closer to the bottom of our rankings for a few weeks, and after her disastrous Tina Turner-wannabe performance, she's finally made it there. Though she was in the bottom three last week, can an amazing performance this week keep her safe? 02idol-power-410matt-giraud1

6. Matt GiraudAfter a fantastic rendition of Stevie Wonder's "Part-Time Lover," we thought Matt would make a jump in our rankings. America kept him out of the bottom three (thank goodness), so why hasn't he connected with people in our poll?

03idol-power-410kris-allen1

5. Kris AllenPoor Kris got slammed for his version of "All She Wants to Do Is Dance," and slipped quite a few spots from his strong outing last week. Kris' new strategy must be to pick a song that Simon doesn't find "indulgent" — which seems to be nearly impossible these days!

04idol-power-410allison-iraheta1

4. Allison IrahetaAllison is the one woman in this competition to watch. Her performance of "I Can't Make You Love Me" was powerful and soulful, and the judges have compared her to Season 1 winner, Kelly Clarkson, more than once. But, our voters continue to place her near the middle of the pack.

05idol-power-410anoop-desai1

3. Anoop DesaiAnoop earned much love from the judges for his original take on Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors," and his kudos raised him one spot in our poll. However, America (shockingly!) voted him into the bottom two. Can Anoop redeem himself with a movie tune show-stopper?

06idol-power-410danny-gokey1

2. Danny GokeyEven though his bizarrely arranged performance of "Stand by Me" got mixed reviews, Danny was also bumped up a spot to the No. 2 position in our poll. Now if only we can stop him from doing his really bad hip-thrusting dance moves.

1. Adam LambertSaying Adam is safe at the top of our latest poll would be an understatement. He recovered nicely from last week's awful "Play That Funky Music" by toning it down with "Mad World." That strategic move not only made him safe in America's eyes, but put him in our No. 1 spot with a whopping 48 percent of the vote! For the latest on American Idol, tune into TV Guide Network's Idol Tonight every Wednesday at 8 pm/ET and Idol Wrap every Friday at 8 pm/ET with co-hosts Kimberly Caldwell and Justin Guarini.
