A military-inspired competition series, American Grit follows 16 men and women as they face a variety of survival-themed challenges at the military level in the wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. With a cash prize on the line, the tough competitors will have to work together in a test of strength and the human spirit. John Cena appears as part of an elite group of mentors that also includes Navy Seals and Army Rangers.

Produced by Shonda Rhimes, The Catch stars The Killing's Mireille Enos as a fraud investigator -- scratch that -- a sexy fraud investigator who becomes the victim of fraud herself... thanks to her conman of a fiancé! When she isn't working her own cases for work, she's tracking down that sleazy scuzzball (played by Parenthood's Peter Krause) to get her life back. Alimi Ballard, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Rose Rollins, Elvy Yost, and Sonya Walger also star.

Based on the Belgian drama Cordon, this new drama (recently downgraded to being described as a limited event series) hails from The Vampire Diaries' and The Originals' Julie Plec and follows the aftermath of a deadly epidemic outbreak in Atlanta that has nothing to do with vampires or werewolves or witches. When a city-wide quarantine is enforced, loved ones will be torn apart as they not only fight against the outbreak but also the fear and isolation that come as a result. David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, Hanna Mangan Lawrence, George Young and Trevor St. John star.

A spin-off of Criminal Minds starring Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza, Daniel Henney, Tyler James Williams and Annie Funke, Beyond Borders follows the International Division of the FBI as they solve crimes and rescue Americans dumb enough to fall into dangerous situations while abroad.

This new comedy stars Patrick Warbuton (Seinfeld, Rules of Engagement) and Carrie Preston (The Good Wife, True Blood) as a married couple whose grown daughters (iCarly's Miranda Cosgrove and Stitchers' Mia Serafino) decide to move back home and blow up their plans of finally having an empty nest.

Created by Jason Jones and Samantha Bee, and inspired by their own lives, The Detour follows a family on a disastrous road trip that gets worse and worse every step of the way. Jones stars as family patriarch Nate, while Justified's Natalie Zea plays his wife Robin. Ashley Gerasimovich and Liam Carroll stars as their kids.

Andrew Dice Clay stars as himself in this new Showtime series. The "comedy" is a semi-autobiographical tale about trying to stay relevant as he tries to recapture some of his fame by moving his family to Las Vegas. He'll find trouble for comedy's sake in paying off gambling debts, managing his sons' metal band and fending off fans. Natasha Leggero and Kevin Corrigan also star.

Set in the beautiful but definitely weird city of Venice, Calif., Flaked is the story of Will Arnett's Chip, a self-appointed "guru" who falls for his best friend's crush. Eventually, his tangled web of half-truths and semi-bullsh-- will begin to unravel as he tries to stay ahead of his lies and maintain his sobriety in this eight-episode series.

David Lyons (Revolution), Michael Raymond-James (Terriers), Larenz Tate (Rush), and Derek Phillips (Friday Night Lights) star as childhood friends bonded together by a 25-year-old secret in this new drama. When their shared past resurfaces (a past that includes a nine-month stint in juvenile detention for a well-intention act of heroism that went wrong), they must band together to get justice, as well as revenge on those who wronged them. Claire van der Boom, Bre Blair and Demetrius Grosse also star.

Based on the 2009 film of the same, this new 13-episode series starring Riley Keough and executive-produced by Steven Soderbergh follows Christine Reade, a law student and legal intern who becomes interested and intoxicated by the life of GFEs, and the control and intimacy they have and provide. Mary Lynn Rajskub and Paul Sparks also star. The show will roll out weekly on Starz, but every episode will be available on Starz Play and Starz On Demand beginning Sunday, April 10.

Fox's affinity for mismatched crime-solvers continues with this drama about the true friendship between master illusionist Harry Houdini and Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle as they team up with Scotland Yard to crack cases. OK, maybe the duo didn't solve crimes in real life, but that won't stop Fox from making a show about them doing so and adding some supernatural twists to the mix. House's Michael Weston and Episodes' Stephen Mangan star.

What's a terrorist thriller doing on a network that specializes in science-fiction programming? Well, Hunters takes all our fears about unseen enemies and adds real outer-space aliens, not just the kind that Donald Trump hates. Nathan Phillips stars as an FBI agent who, after the mysterious disappearance of his wife, discovers a secret government organization that's set to stop these E.T.T.s (extra-terrestrial terrorists). Let's make America and the rest of the world great again!

Another good-looking import for Sundance TV, the six-episode series is based on the real-life Balkan jewel thieves who took heisting to an almost artistic level. The series will look at the criminal network from within, through the eyes of law enforcement, and everyone else affected by their large-scale diamond robberies.

Is it time for networks to start dumping cheap reality competition shows on us already? Apparently! This latest from NBC takes the talent show format and adds... adorable kids. Steve Harvey hosts this showcase of young'uns shredding on the guitar, twirling nunchucks and showing off spelling prowess. Harvey will also talk to them on the couch for interviews, ensuring your Facebook feed will be filled with several clips that make you go, "Awwwww!"

You know you've made it as a comedian when you get a show that's just your last name as the title. George Lopez stars in this exaggerated and pointed look at his life as a successful Mexican-American comedian, in which he is too rich to relate to his target working-class audience and too "brown" to rub elbows with the affluent society of which he's part. And surprise -- it actually looks kind of funny! The single-camera comedy comes from the co-creators of Silicon Valley.

An adaptation of John le Carré's 1993 novel of the same name, The Night Manager stars Tom Hiddleston as an intelligence operative who must resort to shady ways as he infiltrates the inner circle of a lethal arms dealer (Hugh Laurie). The six-part series will get a head start in the U.K. before it airs in the U.S.

Executive producer Jason Katims (Friday Night Lights, Parenthood) brings his uncanny knack for making you cry and feel things to religion in this drama about a controversial faith-based movement (aka it's a cult) and the people who preach it, live it and eventually come to distrust it. Hannibal's Hugh Dancy stars as the movement's unofficial leader Cal Roberts, while Aaron Paul returns to live-action TV for the first time since Breaking Bad as Eddie, a married man who begins to doubt everything he's been told. Michelle Monaghan (True Detective) stars as Eddie's wife Sarah and Rockmund Dunbar (Sons of Anarchy) plays a detective looking into the movement/cult.

The streaming service is giving the multi-camera comedy format a whirl with The Ranch, but that might be burying the lede because this sitcom is a full-fledged That '70s Show reunion. Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson star as brothers trying to run the family ranching business. Since the show is on Netflix, expect some multi-camera traditions -- such as episode length, joke set-up and clean language -- to be tinkered with. Also in the cast are Sam Elliott, Debra Winger and Elisha Cuthbert.

This period drama tells the story of Ireland's independence in the early 1900s through the eyes of three women from Belfast, Dublin and London. The five-part series stars Brian Gleeson, Ruth Bradley and Game of Thrones' Michelle Fairley.
