After seeing how producers wove Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty into the new 90210, naturally fans wondered when the rest of the Beverly Hills, 90210 gang would stop by. TVGuide.com caught up with Jason Priestley at a CW reception at the Kokomo Café, aka the new Peach Pit, to talk about the 90210 episode he's directing (he's also directed five episodes of Secret Life of the American Teenager this season), and what would convince him to reprise the role of Brandon Walsh on the new show. Priestley also reports that we shouldn't plan on seeing Luke Perry's Dylan McKay on the show any time soon.
Donald Faison says moving to ABC hasn't changed Scrubs. It's still the same medical dramedy you learned to love over seven years at NBC. Welsh actor Owain Yeoman is, surprisingly, not sick of answering "the accent" question. In fact, he loves it when people think he's American. As "jock cop" Wayne Rigsby on CBS' The Mentalist (Tuesdays, 9 pm/ET), Yeoman is responsible for a lot of the drama's lighter moments, as he gorges himself on whatever food is available and stumbles sweetly in his attempts to woo a fellow agent. Yeoman spoke to TVGuide.com about Rigsby's future romantic prospects, precisely which accent he's aiming for and why his answers to our questions will be way better than Tim Kang's.
We're all bummed that ABC has canceled Pushing Daisies, and no magic finger is bringing it back to life. But perhaps none of us is as sad as Kristin Chenoweth, who plays the spunky, sing-songy Olive Snook on the romantic fantasy series. While speaking about her appearance on TNT's Christmas in Washington (Wednesday, 8 pm/ET), Chenoweth lamented the way the show met its end, and how she imagined Olive's future with her Pie Hole cohorts. Tim Kang isn't that different from Kimball Cho, the straight-arrow investigator he plays on CBS' hit drama The Mentalist (Tuesdays, 9 pm/ET). He is focused and thoughtful in his answers to my questions, but careful not to reveal too much or paint too limited a picture of Cho, lest future scripts contradict him. He does say that we'll learn more about the character in upcoming episodes — more than that he has a crayon-shaped piggybank behind his bedroom door.
