Will The Big Bang Theory's Raj Find Love Before the Series Ends?

Kunal Nayyar weighs in

Rajesh Kootharappali (Kunal Nayyar) is The Big Bang Theory's resident hopeless romantic. He's had so many girlfriends over the years and yet none of his relationships work out (usually for reasons that are Raj's own fault).

But with the end of the series probably coming sooner rather than later, it might be time for Raj to settle down. And at a PaleyFest event in Los Angeles last week, Kunal Nayyar considered the question if Raj will ever find "the one" and who that special lady would have to be.

"I think maybe someone like him who's just as insecure in love," Nayyar told TV Guide. "That would be really lovely, because then he could take care of them, in a way. They could take care of each other in that way. Right now it's always he meets somebody very insecure or he meets somebody too confident and he just can't really juggle all his emotions. So it would be fun to meet someone on his level."

And if it doesn't happen, maybe Raj can adopt a baby and raise it as a single father. That would be a happy ending, too. Just a man and his two children, one of whom is a dog named Cinnamon.

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS.)
