Kelly Ripa is headed to Riverdale!

The morning show host revealed on Instagram that she'll soon be sharing scenes opposite her real-life husband Mark Consuelos, who plays Veronica's (Camila Mendes) swoon-worthy father Hiram Lodge on the series. And this won't be the first time Ripa and Consuelos will share the screen together. The couple met while filming the soap opera All My Children in the '90s.

This season on Riverdale, Ripa will step into the role of Hiram's alleged mistress Mulwray, a confident woman who's definitely not a pushover. Mulwray is described as "a beautiful, icy, femme fatale who gets caught up in a conspiracy that's much bigger than she initially realized," according to E!.

"It's a family affair........Hiram's mistress. 23 years of auditioning for a role I was born to play. Coming soon to the @thecwriverdale," Ripa wrote in her announcement.

And Ripa really wasn't kidding when she called Riverdale "a family affair." In addition to her appearance in the series, the couple's son Michael is also poised to appear as a younger version of Hiram in Wednesday's flashback episode "The Midnight Club."

See the whole Consuelos-Ripa family in action on Riverdale, which airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW.
