Well it's about time!
After keeping fans dangling for weeks, Netflix apparently figured out it was about to catch all the fans' hands as it hemmed and hawed over renewing GLOW for a third season. Back at the Television Critics Association (TCA) summer press tour panel a few weeks ago, journalists were all too ready to hit 'Publish' on stories that the critically acclaimed hit about the gorgeous ladies of wrestling was returning when Carly Mensch and the rest of the crew broke hearts by announcing the renewal was still in limbo. GLOW is up for 10 Emmys for its first season come September.
GLOW is the Perfect Summer Binge
Fortunately, Netflix came to its senses, and announced Season 3 is coming today via Twitter. Season 3 promises to head to Las Vegas, where s Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, Marc Maron and the rest of the gang look to woo new audiences.

No word on what caused the delay but it's fair to assume that Netflix was hammering out details, especially since the women of GLOW have given Netflix a bona fide hit at a time it really could use one.
