Around the World in 80 Ways: Rob Mariano Returns to Reality TV -- Where's the Finish Line?

He's competed on four seasons of Survivor. He's traveled the world at least twice for The Amazing Race. And last year, he did the impossible and finally took home the $1 million grand prize in front of millions of TV viewers on Survivor: Redemption Island. So what in the world is "Boston Rob" Mariano doing back on TV less than a year after his triumphant win?   "I love adventure and I always have," Mariano tells TVGuide.com of his latest reality TV venture, Around the World in 80 Ways. Survivor villainess Jerri Manthey has taken lots of heat for her witchy behavior on TV. Most recently, the live audience booed her off the stage at the All-Stars reunion. Here's six players who didn't make Survivor: All-Stars: Original class-clown Gervase Peterson, Clarence Black (Africa), Sean Rector (Marquesas), Nick Brown (Australian Outback), Ted Rogers (Thailand) and Osten Taylor (Pearl Islands). In case you didn't notice, there were no — as in nada, zip, zero! — black male players in the championship edition. After eliminating past winner Tina Wesson, the female Saboga tribemates preyed on the elderly by taking out Survivor's oldest player ever, Rudy Boesch. Survivor: The Australian Outback champ Tina Wesson may have outlasted the competition Down Under, but her big victory proved an even bigger handicap on Survivor: All-Stars.
