Ben Stone (Michael Moriarty), DA Adam Schiff (Steven Hill), Senior Detective Lennie Briscoe (Jerry Orbach); newly arrived are detective supervisor Anita Van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson) and ADA Claire Kincaid (Jill Hennessy) (replacing Paul Robinette).
