Other than an occasional laugh, it's hard to find much worth recommending in this farce on British army life, featuring Trinder as an army surplus salesman doing his two-week reserve stint. In slapstick fashion, Trinder makes the most of obvious situations, before proving his wit by outsmarting his archenemy, sergeant-major Cruickshank.
