The first in a series of programmers based on the comic strip character created by Russ Westover. Harris, who was discovered by the studio for this role, plays Tillie, a flighty gal who lands a job in her boy friend Tracy's office as a steno girl. She soon turns the business upside down, but in the end manages to right all her wrongs and impress the boss. The story was first presented on the screen in the silent TILLIE THE TOILER (1927), with Marion Davies in the Harris role.
