This tasteless spoof of the famous Sherlock Holmes tale stars Peter Cook and Dudley Moore as Holmes and Watson in a seemingly endless string of unfunny jokes told at the expense of Doyle's characters. Directed by Andy Warhol favorite Paul Morrissey (FRANKENSTEIN; DRACULA; TRASH), the film was unreleased in the US until Moore's success in Blake Edwards' 10.
