The Crowded Sky Reviews

Once again a doomed plane is a vehicle for soap opera, this time featuring Andrews and Zimbalist as the pilots of a commercial jet and a Navy plane on a collision course. While trying to fly the commercial plane, Andrews is dealing with his hooligan child in flashbacks; in the Navy jet (which is blown out of the sky at the last moment, averting a crash) Zimbalist is trying to cope with his flirty wife. No wonder their signals get crossed. Donahue and Wynn turn in stock but entertaining performances as passengers. The major flaw in this film, as with most disaster movies, lies in its cramming too many characters into the two-hour story.
