The Big Cube Reviews

Mossberg, a pretty hippie, is attracted to medical student Chakiris, who sells LSD to beach bums. Mossberg's father refuses to allow his daughter to marry Chakiris, who is really just after her money. When Dad dies, Mossberg's newlywed mother, Turner, prevents her stepdaughter from collecting her inheritance. Trying to drive Turner mad so that they can get their hands on the family fortune, Mossberg and Chakiris give Turner some acid, then nearly commit murder. Eventually, Mossberg begins to see the light and turns to a friend of the family, Egan, for help. Turner is brought back to sanity, and Chakiris ends up on skid row. Although the disconnected montage employed by director Davidon is distracting, THE BIG CUBE remains fairly entertaining.
