Following the successful formula of OLD MOTHER RILEY IN PARIS, this less impressive series entry has Lucan traveling to Portugal in search of daughter McShane, who has taken a job with a wine company. Mother Riley is mistakenly believed to be a famed pianist (in Paris she was thought to be a spy) and manages to save her daughter from a kidnaping scheme, as well as rescue some stolen port wine.
