Music Hath Charms Reviews

Odd, funny musical has BBC bandleader Hall in the recording studio trying to keep his musicians in line, while outside the studio his music is having strange effects. It saves a party in the jungle from cannibals, helps mountain climbers find their way through the fog, starts romances, and breaks up marriages. Ahead of its time and well worth checking out, thanks in large measure to co-director Summers, who is famed for realism in his scripts, and Woods, who made some of the best moderate-budget British films of the 1930s.
