Allen is a hip teen whose big ideas overshadow those of his average delinquent buddies. He concocts a plan to kidnap the daughter of a wealthy merchant and collect a $40,000 ransom. The problem is that he falls in love with Whitfield, the merchant's daughter. When his cohorts realize what's happened, and that they're not going to get the big bucks, they shoot poor Allen in the belly. Don't fret though, he'll live through it.
