Benjamin Bratt Returning to Law & Order
Benjamin Bratt will return as Detective Reynaldo Curtis on Law & Order, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Curtis will reunite with his former boss, Lt. Anita van Buren (S. Epatha Merkerson), on an upcoming episode. Bratt was nominated for a best supporting actor Emmy for the role in 1999. After four seasons, he left the show that same year to pursue a film career. Benjamin Bratt to guest-star on Modern Family "I am thrilled that Ben is coming back for a return appearance," executive producer Dick Wolf said in a statement. "He joined us for our recent 20th anniversary celebration and it was like he never left." Bratt's casting was first reported by Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. Bratt starred in the A&E series The Cleaner for two seasons and will guest-star this fall on ABC's hit sitcom Modern Family, playing Sofia Vergara's unreliable but charismatic ex-husband. In Treatment Renewed for a Third Season
In Treatment, HBO's innovative shrink drama, has been renewed for a third season, the network announced. The five-times-a-week series revolves around the patient sessions of Dr. Paul Weston (Gabriel Byrne), a psychologist who lives in Brooklyn. In Treatment was one of TVGuide.com's biggest Emmy surprises Dianne Wiest appeared in both Seasons 1 and 2 as Paul's therapist, Gina, and a rotating cast of actors (Blair Underwood, Embeth Davidtz, Josh Charles, Hope Davis and John Mahoney, to name several) have played his patients. The casting of Paul's third-season patients has not been announced. Production is scheduled to begin in New York in early 2010, with the season to air later in that year.

USA's White Collar: Where "Crime Can Be Beautiful"
There are a lot of dark, twisted cop shows on TV; think of Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, CSI. White Collar (premieres Friday, 10/9c, USA) is trying something different: a traditional crime drama spliced with a buddy comedy. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) is a career white-collar criminal who makes a deal with FBI Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay), the man who put him in prison. In exchange for Caffrey's (ankle bracelet-monitored) freedom, he'll help Burke catch the bad guys. It's a premise we've seen before — the Tom Hanks-Leonardo DiCaprio film Catch Me If You Can comes to mind — but White Collar's take is more timeless and, yes, funnier. Jessica Lucas knows that signing on to play Riley, one-half of Melrose Place's happy couple (Michael Rady's Jonah is the other half), is a risky move on a show so single-centric.
