NBC is looking for a little old blood to help give them a boost. The Peacock beat out CBS in a bidding war for David E. Kelley's new legal dramedy and has already given the project series commitment, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Two housekeepers at David and Victoria Beckham's English mansion were arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing the soccer icon's memorabilia, British media reports said. According to Reuters, personal items, such as Beckham's football boots, sportswear and designer clothes were taken from "Beckingham Palace" and put up for sale on auction Web site, eBay. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart has become quite the launching pad for comedy careers in Hollywood. Following in the footsteps of former Daily Show correspondents Steve Carell, Rob Corddry and Steven Colbert, married couple Jason Jones and Samantha Bee have signed on to create and write a sitcom script for themselves at CBS, Variety reports. Jones and Bee will also star in the untitled comedy, which follows a celebrity chef (Jones) and the two women who actually run the show (one of which Bee will play). Get more details after the jump.

Looks like the money's run out for The Riches. After several months of deliberation, FX has canceled the series, which starred Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as the parents of a family of thieves who move to a wealthy suburb and assume new identities. After two seasons, failing ratings and the cost of promoting and producing new shows like Damages and Sons of Anarchy (which the network just picked up for another 13 episodes) were too much to overcome. Saturday Night Live is racking up ratings with its political satire this season, so why did NBC yank a popular sketch that skewered Democrats and subprime lenders off the Internet? FX has decided to keep the motor of its new bad-boy biker drama Sons of Anarchy running for a second season. The Fox 21- and FX-produced series has earned a 13-episode second season order Monday after only the first five episodes of its current run. During those five weeks, the newbie drama has averaged 5.4 million viewers weekly and 3.5 million adults 18-49, making it FX's most successful series since Rescue Me.
