When news of the uranium leaks out, McCoy and Rubirosa find themselves the victims of intense federal scrutiny.

When it's revealed that she was actually one of Mullaly's victims and that she had been brought to New York to confront her molester as part of a new TV show, Jack McCoy decides to go after the show's producer Ellie Harper.

Yet, his defense of being a public servant to those who could not afford operations proves hard to refute.

They learn it's true so what happened to the baby. The nanny reveals that the baby died and they were worried what would happened if it got out that the baby they adopted died. So they paid the nanny to get rid of the body and find them another one.
