21 Episodes 2010 - 2011
Season 9 opened with the hourlong whodunit "And Then There Were Fewer," in which the family and neighbors get locked in a mansion owned by newly born-again James Woods (as himself) and must solve a murder mystery. For "Brian Writes a Bestseller," the literate canine is flustered by his lack of writing success, until Stewie becomes his manager and he sees his latest work climb the charts. Bill Maher appears in a live-action sequence.
