Season 6 of the animated comedy is highlighted by the series' 100th episode, "Stewie Kills Lois." In it, Stewie is stewed about being left behind when Lois and Peter go on a cruise, so he decides to stow away on the ship and carry out a diabolical plan to kill his mother. In the next episode, "Lois Kills Stewie," after the sassy baby has supposedly bumped off mom, Stewie decides to audition for "American Idol" judges Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell (who provide their own voices). Other notable episodes featured Brian discovering he has a love child, and James Woods (as himself) returning to wreak vengeance on Peter.

Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson have voice cameos as themselves.
