Episode 1
The Heart of Wrexham

After Wrexham AFC's unprecedented back-to-back-to-back promotions now to the Championship League, the collective they are preparing for the final hurdle of making it to the Premier League. It is arguably already the most historic story in football, making it to the Premier League next year which would arguably make it the most historic story in all of sports. Those in the administration know it is a daunting task in Wrexham AFC the only team in the Championship League never to have played in the Premier League, where the budgets and exposure are exponentially greater than anything Wrexham has ever experienced. They also know that they can easily tumble backward into relegation, and that putting money into the team, not only at the player level with huge contracts, but in the overall infrastructure is required to continue that upward trajectory. On the flip side, some key players will have to be let go, some that were instrumental in the team get those three consecutive promotions, which may in turn rub some supporters the wrong way. But before the season, the team is playing in some exhibition games in Australia and New Zealand, where some new acquisitions can be tested. In addition, the tragic yet inspiring story of one Wrexham supporter is told, one which Ryan sees as epitomizing the "heart" of the town.

Early in their first season in the Championship League, Wrexham AFC's results have been less than stellar, not yet having one the win column. It's also nearing the end of the summer trade season, Phil, Shaun and Michael making some eleventh hour fifty-ninth minute changes to the roster, the most ever in Rob and Ryan's tenure as owners, in the want to change their fortunes. If these changes don't yield immediate results, some may look to Phil as the scapegoat in the Championship League having a reputation of chewing up and spitting out their Managers who are having a string of non-results. Meanwhile, profiles of two people associated with football in Wrexham are presented, one, Joey Jones, upon his passing and being known as the heart of football in Wrexham, and the other who is becoming a legend in her own right in another manner.
Episode 3
Coming Together

The administrative has spent a lot of money on a swath of new players, who have shown that they have the talent, but the results have yet to materialize on the pitch, it arguably a matter of the team not yet gelling. The questions become how long it will take before the results show and how long it will take for heads to roll if the results don't materialize. Money has also been invested into the women's team, with a new manager, a swath of new players, and arguably most importantly a dedicated stadium, the first in women's Welsh football, as the team prepares for its first game of the season. Meanwhile, a fellow team in the Championship League is in deep turmoil primarily at the hands of its owner. This turmoil is discussed in relation to Wrexham AFC, and shows Rob that he and Ryan are just the current stewards of the franchise which belongs to the residents.

Wales Forever

Welsh national pride is on full display. After a slow start, Wrexham AFC is firmly planted in the middle of the standings, but within spitting distance of the sixth and final spot of the playoff bracket. They look to their Welsh players, three who are on the roster, with one having moved up the ranks of the organization from his child years playing on the youth team and is the last player who was around when Rob and Ryan purchased the team. While that pride extends country-wide, there are also regional differences, with the north where Wrexham is located often feeling like it is put down by the south where the bigger cities such as Swansea are located. As such, a derby exists between Wrexham AFC and Swansea City AFC, who have not played in the same league for twenty-two years. While games with other teams will soon meld together in the minds of fans, this first game between these two teams will be one that fans will remember for a long time regardless of the outcome. Meanwhile, another program within the Wrexham AFC organization is profiled: the Wrexham Power Chair Football team.

Holiday Spirit

Like many western professional sports leagues, the EFL has a jam packed game schedule over the Christmas holidays. At this mid-season stage, Wrexham AFC is in the bottom half of the standings, without a win in many games. They will need a good run over this period to have any hope of even contending for a promotion to the Premier League for next season. Any success will require an injection of energy into the team, which seems to have been lacking of late. In the new year, the draw and Wrexham AFC's third round match in this year's FA Cup are shown. And as Christmas presents, two comeback stories associated with the team are presented.
Episode 6
Hell Week

It's the new year, just over halfway into the season, and it's the first time that Wrexham AFC is in potential promotion in being sixth in the standings, the final position for the playoffs. It's also the final trading window of the season, which may mean that some players will come and some will leave, the latter always bittersweet. There's also one member of the team that has been there over the entire course of Rob and Ryan's tenure that believes his usefulness to the pair is becoming less and less, and that his time formally with the team may either come to an end or dwindle especially as he has a professional life outside of Wrexham AFC. But with an organizational culture fostered by Rob and Ryan that is unlike at least any other football club in the EFL, no one ever really leaves at least emotionally. The team is also still in the FA Cup, the first time in twenty-nine years that it has advanced to the fifth round. While some clubs don't place as much importance in the FA Cup matches versus the league matches, Wrexham AFC does in the possibility of a trophy at the end and the possibility of facing teams in higher leagues that they would not face in league play. This combination leads to what is known by many associated to the team as "hell week" in playing three important games at the Racecourse Ground over the span of six days.

Touching Grass

Ryan talks about what is real and what is not, online chatter falling into that latter category. He uses the analogy of the grass at the Racecourse, he still having that blade he took his first time there, as being that real grounding force. Two people associated with Wrexham AFC are profiled in that reality and what the team means in their lives, one being young cancer sufferer Archie White whose current health status is updated. With the team on the bubble for the final playoff spot, Phil talks about focusing on the means to the end while still not taking the eyes off the prize of the playoffs. However, if the team takes any downturns, the "Parky Out" club, which as been in existence ever since he arrived at Wrexham, and has been vocal even during the team's back-to-back-to-back promotions, may be louder than usual.
Episode 8
We Go Again

It's the home stretch of the season. The women have had a record breaking one, and with one game to go, they are sitting atop the Adnan Premier League standings. That last game, however, is against second place Cardiff City two points behind meaning that the winner will win the league. The men however are in a fight for the playoffs in the Championship League. The current top five teams are almost guaranteed to finish in the top six, with Wrexham AFC currently in seventh, one of three teams battling for that final sixth playoff spot. They have a difficult road in Hull City, currently in sixth, having been in the top six all season long, and Derby County, currently in eighth, having on paper the easiest remaining matches (two of those four having Wrexham facing Coventry City who are sitting squarely atop the standings, and facing fourth place Middlesborough). They somewhat have their fate in their own hands entering the last game. An epilogue of a playoff period discovery changes the taste of the year just past.
