The fourteenth season brings the competition to Charleston, S.C., and pits eight new contestants against eight previous contestants who are back for redemption. Padma Lakshmi returns as host, and new judge Graham Elliot, a "Top Chef Masters" alumnus, joins returning judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons. Along with the fan-favorite Sudden Death Quickfire challenge, contestants must compete in a variety of Southern-cuisine inspired challenges to prove they have what it takes to be the next Top Chef. Some of the celebrity judges and culinary stars that make appearances this season include Daniel Humm, William Guidara, Dominique Ansel and many more.
