Season 13 of the reality show is once again hosted by Padma Lakshmi and sees the return of judges Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Emeril Lagasse, and Richard Blais. The competition takes place on the road: The chefs' culinary skills are put to test in San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Oakland, and Palm Springs, with several celebrity guests waiting to be served the best food possible. Quickfire Challenges help keep the stakes high at each stop, while the web series "Last Chance Kitchen" provides the eliminated contestants with a chance to be brought back into the main competition.
