Overweight Teen Suing Rachael Ray

An overweight teen who appeared on Rachael Ray has filed a lawsuit against the show, TMZ reports. Check out dramatic celebrity weight loss! Christina Pagliarolo was featured in a segment two years ago about overweight teens. Weighing in at 260 pounds, Pagliardo said her goal was to lose 70 pounds by prom. But Pagliardo says that during the segment her trainer yelled and screamed at her, even after she fell on a StairMaster. She's claiming that she ended up suffering serious injuries and is suing for negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Ellen Has Happy Holiday, Hitting a Season High

With many daytime talkers in reruns, The Ellen DeGeneres Show capitalized on an opportunity and hit a season high the week ending Dec. 16, says the Reporter. Rachael Ray Leads a Coffee Run for Real-life Heroes

She has mastered the 30-minute meal. She's published cookbooks, dined all over the country with only $40 in her wallet, and started an organization to help kids and families feel healthy no matter where they live or who's cooking for them. But it doesn't stop there. Daytime Emmys: CBS Leads Nods, Ellen Battles Viewers

Racking up 53 total nominations, CBS is the network to beat at the 34th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, to be held June 15 in Hollywood. While my sudsy counterpart Daniel Coleridge sums up the soap categories, I can tell you here that the talk show competition has Ellen DeGeneres (with 12 nominations) and The View (10) as front-runners, with the rivals going head-to-head with Rachael Ray in such primo contests as best show and host. (No assemblage of View gabbers has ever won for best host, in nine tries.) Sesame Street was the most-recognized nonsoap program, counting to 12 with its own collection of nods, and Bob Barker stands to collect his 18th Emmy before stepping down in June as host of The Price Is Right.
