General Hospital earned a leading 21 Daytime Emmy Awards nominations Wednesday, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced.

Right on its tail is The Young and the Restless with 20 nods.

Both Hospital and Restless are up for Outstanding Drama Series, along with All My Children and The Bold and the Beautiful.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show leads the talk-show pack with 12 nods, while The View and The Oprah Winfrey Show trail with six and five, respectively. Where the morning circuit is concerned, Today leads with six.

Alicia Minshew (All My Children), Debbi Morgan (All My Children), Colleen Zenk (As the World Turns), Susan Flannery (The Bold and the Beautiful), Laura Wright (General Hospital) and Michelle Stafford (The Young and the Restless) fill the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.

Dr. Mehmet Oz (The Dr. Oz Show), Rachael Ray (Rachael Ray), the panel of The Doctors, the women of The View, and Kelly Ripa and Regis Philbin (Live! with Regis and Kelly) are up for the Outstanding Talk Show Host trophy.

Alex Trebek and Pat Sajak are set to be honored with lifetime achievement awards.

The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be broadcast from Las Vegas Sunday, June 19 at 8/7c on CBS. Wayne Brady, who's up for the Outstanding Game Show Host plaudit, will host.
