TV Guide Network's original comedy series StandUp in Stilettos will return for a second season in November, the network announced Monday. The Office's Kate Flannery will also return as the show's host. "There are so many great, funny women we couldn't fit them all in one season. Not even close!" said Flannery, who plays Meredith Palmer on the NBC workplace comedy.

Phyllis Diller, the legendary comedienne who paved the way for many female comics, has died. She was 95. Diller died Monday at her Los Angeles home surrounded by family, TMZ reports. Diller had reportedly fallen recently, but the accident isn't believed to be associated with her death.

TV Guide Magazine partnered with the Paley Center for Media for its sixth annual PaleyFest Fall Preview Party series, kicking off Sept. 9 with the gang from NBC's new workplace comedy Outsourced (premiering Sept. 23). The cast, headed by newcomer Ben Rappaport as Todd, a Kansas City man whose company transfers him to India, came from taping their Halloween episode. "Todd throws a party and I come as Hugh Hefner, with the velvet jacket, slippers and pipe," reported Rappaport, while Drew Carey Show vet Diedrich Bader, who plays another American import, told us that, earlier in the day, he "leapt out of a closet dressed as Frankenstein and got the [expletive] kicked out of me." With the characters working at a call center selling novelty items, some will utilize props to transform themselves into such clever disguises as a 'chick magnet' and a 'spice rack.'

Is Cougar Town the next Friends? Ian Gomez, who plays beleaguered husband Andy on the show, says the similarities don't end with Courteney Cox's involvement. "It's funny how Cougar Town started as a show about a woman dating a younger man, and now it's kind of turning into an ensemble show about a bunch of friends and their misadventures," Gomez tells TVGuide.com. "And Lisa [Kudrow] came on! [Friends] did very well and I would be very happy if ours is half as successful as that. I just hope I'm not Joey!"
