The creator of HBO's In Treatment and the producer of 2010's Oscar-nominated film Black Swan have teamed up to create a YouTube channel that showcases scripted series, short films and documentaries that feature female characters as leads. Developed by Jon Avnet and Rodrigo Garcia, WIGS (the name stands for "Where It Gets Interesting") is currently the No. 1-rated scripted channel on YouTube. Its first seven "series" (all named after the central character) have featured actresses including Jennifer Garner, America Ferrera, Julia Stiles, Jena Malone and more.

Send questions to askmatt@tvguidemagazine.com, and follow me on Twitter! Questions: A couple of questions on NBC's Monday night lineup. First, what has your opinion been on Chuck this year? I never thought I would say this, but I find myself wishing they had tied up everything last year, when I thought Chuck was at an all-time high in quality. This season has seemed extremely uneven and uninspired to me, with the usually unbearable Buy More plotlines made even worse by the fact that there isn't a whole lot going on in the A-plot week to week either. Your thoughts? Secondly, I have been enjoying The Event a great deal, but find myself not caring at all whenever the scene shifts to Sean and Leila. Everything they are involved in just seems so small and trite compared to the big conspiracy storyline, and I also don't find myself impressed by those actors' performances. I understand that since Lost and the brilliant work that show did with its characters, all of these high-concept shows have tried to incorporate the everyday hero to resonate with viewers, but the difference there (other than character portrayal) is that those heroes were thrust into the meat of the plot, rather than being relegated to the side plots we have seen in The Event. HBO Continues In Treatment

HBO has confirmed the renewal of their hit freshman show In Treatment starring Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest. Byrne, who played psychiatrist Dr. Paul Weston, will return as well as Wiest who plays his therapist, Dr. Gina Toll. The other "patients," who were each featured once a weekday, have yet to be confirmed. Joining the shows producing team of Rodrigo Garcia, Hagai Levi, Stephen Levinson and Mark Wahlberg will be Warren Leight (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), who will serve as executive producer. The show, which totally had me at "treatment," will be shot in New York this fall  a debut date is scheduled for sometime in 2009. In the meantime, I'm making it my personal mission to campaign for Mia Wasikowska to win a Best Supporting Actress Emmy. Should You Seek Treatment from Gabriel Byrne?

The when: Premieres Monday, Jan. 28, at 9:30 pm/ET on HBO, and airs thereafter Monday through Friday over nine weeks.Why watch?: HBO's newest drama examines the professional practice and private dramas of a psychotherapist, played by the electrifying Gabriel Byrne. The genius part is that the guy's a real jerk  but he's a master at hiding his angry side when he's in sessions. A sweethearted softie in front of his patients, his dark bitterness only comes out in sessions with his own therapist, played by Dianne Wiest, and occasionally in spats with his wife, portrayed by Michelle Forbes. The premise is a talky one, and its setting can feel claustrophobic  the whole thing takes place inside one room, after all  but Byrne's patients are so mesmerizing that I stayed up all night watching the first two weeks of episodes.
