Lois begins to support Elle Hitler, the town's librarian, to run for office. Peter doesn't support the potential candidate, he finds the late mayor's cousin, Wild West (voiced by Sam Elliot). Wild West agrees to run for office in his late cousin's place. Lois immediately takes an interest in Wild West and she begins supporting him. However, Peter immediately sides with Elle Hitler, he tries to sabotage Wild West's chances of becoming mayor, it leads to disastrous consequences when Peter accidentally burns down the library with Elle inside. At the last minute, Wild West saves Elle from the burning library. Wild West wins the mayoral election, despite Peter's actions, Wild West patches things up with Peter.

Pawtucket Pat

Brian gets a job as a journalist and he discovers that the town founder, Pawtucket Pat is actually a racist founder who stole the Pawtucket Beer recipe from the Native Americans. Brian's article attracts a lot of controversy towards the townspeople and they demand the removal of the Pawtucket Pat statue at the park. Peter, however, ends up at odds with Brian, when he wants the statue to remain at the park. Brian and Stewie make a desperate attempt to get rid of the statue, but it falls into the river, the statue is soon found and taken into a museum so that no one can see it. The Native Americans soon make peace with the Quahog citizens regarding Pat's racist demeanor.
