Episode 2
When a woman trips and falls downstairs, her husband blames the psychologically challenged neighbour.

Episode 3
A woman attempting suicide by driving T Bones a Mini causing deaths; a builder has a fall spilling hot tar over himself.

Episode 4
A psycho knifes two men, attempts suicide then walks out of casualty; Duffy is expecting Andrew's baby but wants nothing more to do with him and a dissatisfied customer takes his business elsewhere.

Episode 5
A hunter sustains a shotgun injury; a monk attempts suicide and a senior citizen presents with VD which he contracted from his Meals On Wheels agent.

Episode 6
Patients include a bad tempered old man who beats his wife; a bite victim and a woman who might be pregnant. Meanwhile, admin woman Valerie attends a party; Cyril joins a dating agency and Alex performs The Heimlich Manoeuvre.

Episode 7
The son of a shopkeeper is knifed in a racist attack; a carpenter has a coronary. Duffy is having second thoughts about her pregnancy.

Episode 8
An aggressive boxing trainer knocks out his son who inhales a tooth; a young woman has an alcohol problem; the paramedics visit a woman with agoraphobia; Julie has a bad date with Jimmy; Charlie and Valerie continue to bicker about everything under the Sun.

Episode 9
A young African girl dies following genital mutilation; Cyril suspects that another young girl is working as a prostitute. Duffy deals with a man with AIDS.

Episode 10
Has a two year old boy taken an overdose? A farmer tells his wife to shoot him and she obliges. Megan faces disciplinary action.

Episode 11
A neighbour of Valerie's is found collapsed with hypothermia by her social worker; a friend of Alex' tries to persuade her to leave nursing for the financial sector; a Holby Athletic footballer believes he's entitled to preferential treatment because he used to play for Sunderland and a woman pushed beyond endurance from caring for her mother strikes out at Duffy and Jimmy.

Episode 12
A major incident is declared when there is an explosion in the city centre. Among the many casualties is former Pan's People member Cherry Gillespie. We say goodbye to four of the regular cast.
