Tom helps a boy who's having trouble with his mother as Sam sees to a woman that helps bring to light what might have happened to him. Meanwhile Jamie treats a young boy whose been competing in boxing matches at his step-fathers insistence.

Patients include a young boy whose illness may be the fault of his food fad mum's dietary choices and a young woman concerned about circumcision.

The doctor responsible for the genital mutilations is admitted with serious groin injuries. On Dixie's birthday, Jeff and Fletch attempt to obtain event tickets for her.

Jeff's ailing father is admitted following an RTA, which prompts a visit from Jeff's 'gor blimey guv' unruly brother who is also Jamie's father. Ash makes a play for Linda.

An off licence owner is badly beaten by a gang which includes his own son; Aoife, Jamie and Robyn have their assessments.

An alcohol dependent policeman is in involved in an RTA which seriously injures a young woman. Linda announces that she has been offered another job.

On Linda's last day, a young girl is admitted after taking poison; Zoe and Linda tease Ash.

Patients include a young woman who may have inherited Huntington's and a baby with estranged parents. Another patient lusts after Zoe who only has eyes for potential next conquest Ash; Fletch continues his pursuit of Tess and Sam and Tom argue about his condition and medication.

Tess saves an Asian from a beating but his assailant is also admitted to ED. Robyn accidentally gets stoned by eating a patient's cannabis laced biscuits.

Ash's daughter returns to the scene of yesterday's crime, this time to get her boyfriend to steal booze for her. Sam observes Tom taking restricted medicines and they have another set to.

A History of Violence

Sam moves out of Tom's house; Tom discovers he has a father who is in prison; Robyn helps a woman with a faulty washing machine.

Secrets and Lies

A teenage girl shows off her driving skills by crashing the car she has stolen and injuring her passenger boyfriend; Tom visits his father in jail and ends up treating a convict who goes berserk with a knife; Ash and Zoe remove a sachet of heroin swallowed by another prison inmate; Tess discovers she's expecting Fletch's baby and Fletch sets off on holiday with his wife and three children.

Mistakes Happen

Tom and Jeff may soon need some emergency care themselves as the situation in the prison escalates and they find themselves in danger. Tess treats two sisters. Dixie gets a date with Carol.
