To the sound of an unidentified "aaaaaagh' from somewhere off camera, Kate asks Charlie if he thinks she could have an advance on her salary. Baz & Charlie discuss a rota for time together at home. Sam tries to put the casual into casualty. Jack calls Georgina in for a telling off.

A woman is stalked by a man she does not know and her boyfriend chases him down is his car, and hits him. He claims to be the boyfriend's ex lover. A woman has an altercation with her mother in law, and the mother pushes her into a fire.

A woman steals a mother's baby and they struggle and the woman pushes the mother down the stairs.

A Taste of Freedom

Kate has been caught shoplifting and the newspaper runs the story. Everyone in A&E sees the paper and Kate decides to resign in shame.

Bad Company

A clown is admitted, sad because he wishes to leave his partner in clowning. A young man hijacks his big sister's BMW and causes Casualty Car Crash#55. A beggar's woman is injured when the couple request cash from a belligerent man of the cloth. The woman transpires to be the vicar's daughter. Discontented Liz reveals her plan to Josh to resign and go travelling. Jack, having confided in Charlie that his pregnant painter woman fiancé has left him, vents his frustration on Sam. He is later called in for a ticking off by Elliot for various errors and general attitude, and after finding out that it was Baz who dropped him in it over the patient who died, hands in his resignation in a fit of pique and walks out.

In a 76 minute episode omitted from Drama rerun March 2024, a woman, distressed at her daughter's walking out of casualty after an attempted overdose and on illegally acquired amphetamines for weight loss, initiates Casualty Car Crashes#56-64 involving many vehicles including a propane tanker. Among the casualties are a young woman who turns out to be a lover of Sam's horrid bi sexual, two timing American boyfriend; a lorry driver seeking a short cut and a young man involved in a sexual relationship with a girl of 15. The crash experience will have repercussions for admin man Elliot, on duty with Josh and Penny. An understandably emotional Sam breaks down in tears on Eve's shoulder. Having played them off against each other for many episodes, Georgina settles on Mark in favour of Richard for sex. Charlie and Baz decide on a trial reparation
