Answer: I finally caught the Season 1 finale Monday night and nearly swallowed my tongue when Cylon Sharon shot Captain Adama. Before you could say "Frak me!" I was on iTunes downloading the first two episodes of Season 2 onto my iPod. I'm hoping to finish off the remaining eight before the clock strikes 2006.

Question: Any news on whether Danny-Mary fans can anticipate some sort of reunion on Las Vegas? Answer: No, but in other Vegas news, my Vegas mole spotted Lara Flynn Boyle on the set last week "in her skinny-ass bathrobe smoking a cigarette outside her trailer," so it appears that Monica Mancuso is either returning from the dead or executive producer Gary Scott Thompson was serious when he told me he was thinking of bringing Boyle back to play Monica's twin brother (Ask Ausiello 11/23).
Question: Aside from Lucy Lawless returning for two episodes (Ask Ausiello 12/14), any more juicy Battlestar Galactica spoilers? Answer: A major character dies by the end of the action-packed two-part premiere next month — and the death may or may not be connected to the double-assassination plot that drives much of the action during the episodes.
Question: Any scoop on The Sopranos? Answer: Remember how I told you last week that HBO was scrapping its traditional premiere screening at Radio City due to a major twist in the season premiere? Well, a source assures me that "nobody gets whacked" in the episode, so it's not that major.

Question: Yay, Wallace is back on Veronica Mars! What else can we look forward to when the second half of the season kicks off? Answer: The show is working on its own version of "Aaron Echolls: The E! True Hollywood Story" to be cut into an upcoming episode, and exec producer Rob Thomas needs our help. You see, the spoof is supposed to feature an interview with the actor playing Echolls in the TV-movie "The Aaron Echolls Story," but in a funny twist, Rob is having a tough time casting the role. "We actually attempted to book Peter Gallagher," Thomas says, "but we didn't have enough money in our budget for Peter's agents to 'take it seriously.'" Now this is where we come in.
