Wife Catherine jokes that they've been together for 32 years, though didn't actually tie the knot until later. A fun little survey released by Lifetime Products, Inc.  no, not the creator of weepy movies but the world's leading manufacturer of folding tables  says that 31 percent of adults want TV mom Claire Huxtable cooking their Thanksgiving dinner. Carol Brady came in second (with 27 percent), though you know Alice is the one really working the magic behind that island.Other findings from the survey: Peg Bundy is the TV mom you most want far, far away from the stove. Speaking of the Bradys, Marcia is the brood member you'd most like at your kiddie table. (Jan came in second; cry me a river.) Adults and children alike voted Miley Cyrus the child star they most want seated at the kiddie table. (Perhaps only so they can sell the folding chairs next to her for $2,000 a pop.) Today's kids prefer High School Musical's Gabriella (51 percent) to Sharpay (19 percent), while Drake beats Josh (45 to 37 percent).

Buoyed by a strong lead-in (National Treasure), USA Network's Burn Notice performed a rare feat this past Thursday, retaining all of the four million people who tuned in for the series' premiere.... Married... with Children: The Complete Seventh Season arrives on DVD Sept. 18, the series' 20th anniversary.... ESPN will broadcast David Beckham's first Major League Soccer game as a player on the Los Angeles Galaxy on July 21 at 9 pm/ET.... Thoughts on Theme Song replacements

It's almost a given that a show with tons of music will have at least one song replaced when it comes out on DVD, but what if that one song is the theme for the show? The earliest theme-song replacements occurred on Dawson's Creek and Married... with Children, the former using the international theme, and the latter using a sound-alike song, but the replacements didn't stop there. Since then we've heard new theme songs for Life Goes On, the international theme for Las Vegas, a butchered theme for Baywatch, George Lopez uttering some words instead of "Low Rider" and the season 3 theme being used on season 2 of Happy Days. Why is this happening?Most songs are licensed on a per-play basis, so the theme song costs are multiplied by the number of episodes in the season. A $20,000 song quickly becomes $440,000 for the season, and the studios are telling us that the recording companies hold this songs hostage, knowing that it's the most important song to license. Married's Peg & Al Reunited

After an eight-year separation, Married... With Children costars Katey Sagal and Ed O'Neill are reunited on tonight's "Old Flame" episode of 8 Simple Rules (8 pm/ET on ABC). According to exec producer John Peaslee, Sagal's Cate dated O'Neill's character, Matt, back in college. "In the show's back story, [Cate and her late husband Paul] broke up one year and she had sort of a wild year where she dated a lot of people," he explains. "[Matt] was one of the guys she went out with that year." Natch, Matt's an "Al Bundy-esque" guy whom Cate remembers fondly. She e-mails him "purely for nostalgic reasons, not for anything else," Peaslee notes. "What happens is, he gets the e-mail from her, and he's a man who's ready for a midlife crisis.
