Flavor Spreads the Love, Sires Baby No. 7
Flavor of Love's mighty-fine catch is expecting his seventh child, the New York Daily News reports. Making this even more romantic of a tale is that No. 7's babymamma has neither bore any of Flav's previous progeny, nor is she either of Flavor of Love's first two winners. "When things didn’t work out with [Season 1's] Hoopz, [Flavor] started dating a woman that he's been dating on and off for a while," says his rep. "They're expecting in early January and yes, [Season 2 winner] Deelishis is aware." But happy about it? Naw, can't imagine so.

Sunday's 90-minute Flavor of Love 2 season finale drew 7.5 million total viewers, making it VH1's highest-rated telecast ever and the No. 1 cable telecast for the night, but not the top non-sports telecast in all of basic cable for the entire year. That honor goes to the season opener of TNT's The Closer... Celebrity guest hosts will spell a busy, busy Meredith Vieira for "a couple of days" during the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire season currently in production, says the New York Daily News.... LONG-LASTING FLAVOR
VH1 has given the go-ahead to a second season of the Surreal Life spin-off Flavor of Love, in which rapper Flavor Flav seeks his soul mate. Casting is already underway for the new edition, which will premiere in early August and feature drop-ins by several hip-hop stars.
BURSTING WITH FLAVOR
Sunday night's series finale of VH1's Flavor of Love wound up being the cabler's highest-rated show ever (with 5.9 million viewers) and the top-rated telecast in the 18-49 demo out of all of the basic-cable networks for the week of March 6.
