Following two successful seasons of his popular reality show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, medical doctor and substance abuse counselor Drew Pinksy turns the cameras on the next step on the journey to sobriety. Dr. Drew specializes in treating addicts in Hollywood, where the temptation to fall off the wagon appears in every nightclub and on practically any street corner in town, so when graduates of his rehabilitation program complete their residential treatment, he encourages them to attend Sober Living, a house where some of the structures of rehab still exist, but patients also reintegrate back into their everyday lives, leaving the premises to face the same issues and pressures that prompted them to use. The patients are armed with the lessons they learned in the first stage of recovery, but it soon becomes apparent that not everyone is ready for the freedom of Sober House.
