Episode 1
Loyalty

Danny and Baez are called in when someone reports a domestic disturbance. They see the woman was beaten but she refuses to press charges. So they talk to the husband who doesn't admit to anything so they caution him. Later the man is killed so they talk to the wife but she's in shock so they take her to the station and Danny learns she's the daughter of his former partner. Later the man says the did it even though Danny doubts him, he arrests him. Eddie sees a boy steal in a store, so she arrests him. When the captain see what she did and why, the captain tells her to let him go cause charges won't be filed . When the boy's mother shows up , she's glad that he was arrested but Eddie tells her what the Captain told her to do. Eddie thinks the boy needs to be arrested so she talks to Erin who gives her an idea which she does but her Captain is not happy. Jamie is working undercover to infiltrate a human trafficking ring which he does one of the gang doesn't like him and when Jamie stands up to him he could be in danger. The mayor wants Frank with him when he makes a statement which Frank has mixed feelings about. One of his confidants decides to do something about it.

Joe Hill, working in the FBI on a drug operation, unknowingly interferes in Jamie's undercover operation, leading to a confrontation, intensified when Joe angrily brings up his father's death. Jamie however masterly rescues the operation, making crucial arrests. Dr. Walker finally resurfaced, so Danny, Baez and Danny's old partner Jackie Curatola can bring him to justice. In interrogation, Danny uses Dr. Walker's alter ego to trick him into confessing after he accuses Danny of suppressing deeper feelings for both Baez and Jackie. Baez also is upset that Danny shared notes with Jackie while alone. Eddie calls a bus on a woman in her precinct's holding cell after the woman alleges that a sergeant raped her; not notifying her captain or her partner angers both, and the rest of the squad turns on seemingly disloyal Eddie. Erin and Anthony speak with the sergeant and his lawyer, who alleges that it was consensual and that the woman seduced him first. The sergeant is suspended pending further investigation, and Eddie makes amends with Badillo. Frank is blindsided when Mayor Chase publicly suggests bringing back a five-member Commission of Police.

Danny learns a troubled teen he tried to help is messing up again and has gotten involved with the wrong people. Jaime learns a reporter wants to interview Henry for a podcast. He learns she might not be on the level. Frank learns that the son of the man who killed his son is a cop who changed his name and didn't reveal who his father was when he applied. So he needs to decide what action he must take. When Anthony and Erin are in a restaurant, they are approached by Vangelis, and that's when someone starts shooting at them. Erin thinks Vangelis is the target but he feigns ignorance and says she's the target, so she has Anthony look into it.

Danny and Baez are called in to a missing child case, they question the parents who are a tad defensive. They question the neighbors who paint a different story. They later learn voodoo might be an issue so Baez asks a cop she knows who knows this stuff to help them. A cop tells Jenko that she tried to get her daughter admitted into an exclusive school and things were going well when the admissions director cut the interview and not accepting her daughter and she suspects her reasons might be racially motivated, so they ask the captain if they can investigate the captain agrees and brings her daughter to be interviewed and the interview gets cut off again and the captain agrees there could be a bias but not racial. Erin speaks to some students one of them describes a case and asks her opinion about after Erin gives her response on the case she insults Erin cause the case she described is her brother and Erin didn't behave the way she described. Which moves Erin to examine the case and to try and convince the student not to be bitter. Garrett brings a woman he knows to Frank who tells him that her car after being stolen and when it was it was discovered it was used to transport drugs so it was impounded as evidence and it was months ago and the owner is a food deliverer who needs her car to work. But they won't release the car. Frank doesn't see a problem. But he talks to the detectives who tells Frank it's the D.A. who refuses to release it. When asked which D.A.is in charge they say Erin. Frank goes to see Erin who is already in a bad mood.

Jamie is escorting a witness when they are attack. He deduces that the people the witness works for uses AI and other software to mimic Jamie's voice and trick the captain into revealing info on the transport. The witness refuses to testify which puts Jamie in a spot. Danny goes to the hospital and is approached by nurse who knew his wife. She tells him she suspects someone at the hospital is killing patients. Danny decides to look into it but has to be discreet about it. Frank learns that Sid is going to take part in the department's boxing tournament and that his opponent is 20 years younger and has a grudge against Sid. So tries to stop it but everyone tells him he's overstepping. Anthony learns a friend of his being sued by a shady attorney who uses a loophole to bring frivolous lawsuits against small business owners like his friends. Erin tells there's nothing they can do but he sees the man and after seeing him the man is attacked and he accuses Anthony of doing it.

Wicked Games

Jamie and Anthony team up when Anthony's ex-wife's brother, an criminal informant, rats out mob members regarding a gambling operation. Erin informs an infuriated Danny that serial killer Sam Evans, who once targeted Baez and her daughter, has been released from prison early on a deal. Danny stakes Baez's home rather then tell her, eventually Evans, who just killed his mother, ambushes Danny at his house, but Baez kills him before he harms Danny. Eddie reports a sergeant in her squad that keeps downgrading her cases to McNichols, only to discover that he and her captain are romantically involved. Baker goes behind Frank's back to transfer her husband to the mayor's protection detail on his wishes. Frank is disappointed that Baker kept this from him and tried to use a hook at 1PP, and discovering that even his close staff finds him intimidating.

Sean is mugged and doesn't tell Danny. But when he learns about it he, decides to look into it. Sean does something that is dangerous. When Jamie and Joe go out for a beer, they get into an altercation that is recorded and streamed. When Frank learns of this, he decides to make them work together on patrol. Eddie and Badillo respond to a call where a couple say they were burglarized and suspect their landlord who wants them out. But she denies doing anything. Eddie looks into it and discovers a secret. Erin is prosecuting a man for burglary and possession and offers a plea. But the defendant's attorney rejects it. Erin doesn't think he's doing a good job defending his client and looks into it.

A carjacking that ends in murder brings Danny and a British detective together cause the perp is a Brit whom the detective is pursuing. Danny tells him to back off but the guy proves to be a brilliant detective. When a cop uses his taser on robber that ends with the robber being struck by a vehicle. Erin needs to decide if the cop used excessive force and if charges need to be made, the D.A. tells her she wants an indictment but evidence proves the cop was justified. Jamie investigates a complaint made by online gamblers that the site is charging them for bets they didn't make. Frank learns that a retired cop pulled his gun and was arrested but someone called and ordered the arrest be vacated. When Frank learns who did it, he tells that person they shouldn't be so quick to intervene.

Frank intercedes after things get tense between Mayor Chase and the new NYC fire chief Veronica Radley. Erin finds herself in awkward position after Henry agrees to become a defense witness in one of her cases. Danny and Baez work a case that is sparked by the discovery of human remains at a storage facility. Eddie and Badillo are thrown a curve when the suspect in their case is scheduled to be an organ donor.

Grace Edwards return years after her husband was killed in the line of duty when she rescinds an honor that Danny was supposed to receive and causes Frank considerable angst. A detective was murdered while working on a case involving counterfeit art and Danny and Baez are asked to look into the gallery that was linked to his investigation. Eddie struggles when she finds out that her former partner, Rachel Witten, who is now a social worker has been cutting corners in her efforts to get a mentally impaired client the care they require.

Erin is once at odds with her boss Kimberly Crawford when a supposedly reformed criminal from one of their old cases becomes a suspect in an armed robbery. Joe Hill works with his uncle, Danny Reagan, looking into the murder of the driver of a delivery truck who may have ties to an illegal drug operation.

Erin and Badillo respond to a domestic disturbance wherein a man is throwing rocks at another he claims the man gained access to his apartment while he was away and the man has squatter's rights. Erin looks into it and learns the squatter is an informant working for Jamie. Danny and Baez investigate the death of a high school student. Her mother says the other students are bullying her. Danny looks into it and wonders who's doing the bullying. Erin and Anthony meet with a woman who might have information on a case they are working on. Erin couldn't help but notice an attraction between Anthony and the woman and encourages them to pursue a relationship. The governor makes Frank an offer he is hesitant to accept cause he thinks there's something going on.
