Frank's (Tom Selleck) safety is threatened when a dirty cop he allowed to retire holds a grudge, so Gormley (Robert Clohessy) asks Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Maria (Marisa Ramirez) for help in finding the would-be culprit. Jamie (Will Estes), newly promoted to sergeant, gets busy proving himself in his new precinct even as he prepares for his wedding to Eddie (Vanessa Ray). Erin (Bridget Moynahan) also gets promoted but has to wade through office politics to get work done. Sean (Andrew Terraciano) acts out as Jack (Tony Terraciano) gets ready to leave for college, while Nicky (Sami Gayle) discovers that a beau is using her to sabotage one of Erin's cases. Danny is forced to work with archenemy Luis Delgado (Lou Diamond Phillips) to take down Jose Rojas (Danny Trejo), the head of a drug cartel suspected to be behind Linda's (Amy Carlson) death. The ninth season of "Blue Bloods" also stars Gregory Jbara as Moore and Abigail Hawk as Baker.
