Ten years after Henry Pollard gave up his day job working for Party Down Catering, a stroke of bad luck lands him back with his old team of Hollywood dreamers and misfits tending bar.

British newscaster Walter Blunt comes to Los Angeles, intent on conquering the world of American cable television. Through the platform of a nightly interview show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think, and behave. Unfortunately, Blunt is constantly harassed by interfering network bosses, a dysfunctional news staff, and his numerous ex-wives and children. Blunt must now deal with the fallout from his well-intended but misguided actions, both on and off the air, with only an alcoholic manservant at his side.

Through a combination of God-given talent and Boston grit, Cam Calloway and Reggie Vaughn have achieved fame and fortune that neither could have imagined growing up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in Boston. But success comes with its own challenges, and the cousins and confidantes wrestle with the rewards of money, stardom, love, and occasionally, the guilt of having "made it."

A dysfunctional family moves from the city to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for Patricia "Pat" Phelps (Courteney Cox), who's convinced that she's either depressed or possessed--it turns out that the symptoms are exactly the same. Pat's a former "wild child" who rose to fame by writing a raunchy drug-and-alcohol-soaked women's empowerment novel (a.k.a. lady porn). 17 years later, she's clean and sober but totally unfulfilled; she still hasn't written her second novel, she can't remember the last time she had sex with her husband Terry, (Greg Kinnear), and her teenage kids Gaynor (Gus Birney) and Jake (Dylan Gage) are at that stage where they want their parents dead. Pat was a faithful wife until her one slip-up: she had a torrid affair with the hot young handyman who came over to fix the sink while Terry was at work. In a last-ditch effort to save their marriage, she and Terry cash in all their savings and move the family from the "crazy" city to a large old house in the suburbs that has its own storied past. Everyone has their demons, but Pat Phelps' might be real.

"Gravity" follows the sometimes comic, sometimes tragic exploits of a support group from an eccentric out-patient program of suicide survivors.
