The sixth season of the sidesplitting sitcom, which is set backstage at a "Saturday Night Live"-like sketch-comedy TV series, features an array of wackiness, its second live episode ("Live From Studio 6H") and such guest stars as Kelsey Grammer, Ken Howard, Patti LuPone, Mary Steenburgen and Susan Sarandon. Among the stories: Jenna (Jane Krakowski) gains fame as a hateful celebrity judge on a talent show for kids; Liz (Tina Fey) works damage control for Tracy (Tracy Morgan) after he's caught on camera saying crude things; Jack (Alec Baldwin) cuts the page program to impress his corporate boss and, after getting mugged, decides to run for mayor; and Liz pens a TV-movie script about Avery (Elizabeth Banks). Through the season, too, Liz grapples with her relationship with new boyfriend Criss (James Marsden).
