The seventh and final season of the sitcom, which takes place backstage at a sketch-comedy TV series, opens with the ever-shifty Jack (Alec Baldwin) seeking to sabotage the network by delivering an awful fall lineup. Other stories include Liz (Tina Fey) and Jack disagreeing over the show's use of political satire during election season; Liz inadvertently stealing the wedding spotlight from Jenna (Jane Krakowski); Liz and Criss (James Marsden) preparing to become adoptive parents; and the show facing cancellation.
